Liverpool beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 at Anfield on Sunday, 25 October 2026, in the Premier League. The home side secured the victory with a clinical performance in the first half.

Liverpool scored two first-half goals in quick succession to take control of the match. Florian Wirtz's shot deflected off Brighton's Pascal Gross to open the scoring. Alexander Isak then doubled the lead from Bradley Barcola's cross, which was Isak's sixth goal of the season.

Brighton's Yasin Ayari had opportunities to score but hit the post and missed a close-range chance. The result was only Brighton's second defeat of the season.

During the match, Florian Wirtz twisted his ankle in a challenge. However, he was able to return to the pitch after receiving treatment.

The result lifted Liverpool to fourth in the Premier League table. They are now one point behind third-placed Brighton.

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola called it his first home Premier League win at Anfield. The victory was the team's fourth win in a row.
